Saltholme RSPB site

We paid a visit and spent a couple of hours hunting wildlife. We did not see an awful lot; some birds around the feeders, a kestrel and what looked like a pack of starlings. But it was strange to be surrounded by cooling towers and pylons while looking for birds. To amuse the children there was a wooden Alice in Wonderland tea table and some rather scary carved animals.
